KARACHI (Dunya News) – A seven-year-old boy was found dead after falling into an open manhole in Karachi’s Mawach Goth today (Wednesday).
According to details, the officers recovered Awais’ body, who went missing from home since three days, from an open manhole in Mawach Goth area.

Karachi’s open manholes and streams are continuing to pose a threat to citizens’ life but the local administration has not taken any concrete step in this regard.
Earlier, a social activist Alamgir Khan had also highlighted the issue with his campaign ‘fix it’ that faced criticism and legal action from Sindh government but the drive was heavily supported by locals.
