Summary Army Chief has taken an initiative against corruption now PM should announce a clear policy: Kaira
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Talking to a press conference Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Qamar Zaman Qaira said that it is understandable what Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif said before and what would be his next step. Whenever PM’s children will be blamed he will be answerable allegations against them.
Address to nation is based on policy guideline, personal issues are not discussed in such address, he added. He also added that government always trys to prolong the issues but the party will never let government’s wish of Panama Affairs settling down come true.
He stated that the government never discussed the draft of the letter which was to be written to Chief Justice for the formation of commission over Panama Leaks. He added that PM needs to discuss the Terms of References (ToRs) with opposition before writing letter. Qaira also said that government should focus on implementation rather than amplification.
He further stated that the Army Chief has taken an initiative against corruption, now PM should announce a clear policy against the issue as well.
