Summary Security agencies sprung into action after 7 officers were martyred by terrorists in Orangi Town.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Law enforcement agencies late Thursday night were seen in action as 4 suspects were apprehended during raids in several areas of the city.
According to the details, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) coundect action in New Karachi area and arrested an operative of an outlawed outfit. According to CTD In-Charge Naveed Khawaja, the operative is being interrogated regarding the killing of seven police officers in Orangi Town.
Meanwhile Rangers conducted targeted action in Lines area and have taken 2 alleged suspects of a political party into custody. The suspects have been shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
On the other hand, Police in Preedy area arrested a suspect of Lyari gangwar after a clash with the operative. According to the police, arrested felon Waheed-ur-Rehman belongs to the notorious Uzair Baloch group. Ammunition and a ball bomb was recovered from the perpetrator.
In a separate incident, a citizen lost his life due to firing in Korangi Juma Goth area.

Security forces believe that terrorists of a banned outfit were behind the attacks.
Meanwhile Inspector-General (IG) Sindh has decided to speed up the operation against terrorists and criminals in the city after the attacks.
