Summary Shah Mehmood met Punjab Bar Council members, requested them to support PTI's stance on Panama Leaks
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif held an important meeting with party leaders to overview and discuss Panama leaks issue on Wednesday while Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has called Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah and was informed with opposition’s stance in this matter, reported Dunya News.
Khurshid said that the government should write letter to Chief Justice in order to form Judicial Commission. Procedure of commission’s investigation should be based on forensic audit, he added. He also demanded to form parliamentary committee if in case CJ denies to probe into the case.
Now the government will inform opposition after consultation with the party leaders. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has called on key party leaders from Sindh. Panama Leaks issue and national political scenario will be discussed in the meeting.
On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi met Punjab Bar Council members and requested them to support PTI’s stance on Panama Leaks issue.
