Summary ECP spokesperson was unaware that the details were obliterated from the official website
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Details regarding the assets of the Parliamentarians in regards to the fiscal years 2013-14 available on the website of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) were removed all of a sudden on Friday, reported Dunya News.
According to sources, the decision to remove the details regarding the assets of the Parliamentarians was made after the institution was pressurised a great deal after the onset of the Panama Leaks. The details of the assets of the Parliamentarians regarding the fiscal year 2015 will not be uploaded on the website.
Dunya News contacted ECP spokesperson Surraya Jamal to get further information in this regards however she expressed her unawareness about the removal of the important details from the official website of ECP.
