Summary MQM workers being "used as tissue papers": Mustafa Kamal
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) former All Pakistan Muhajir Students Organisation (APMSO) Chairman Mohammad Raza and Waheed-uz-Zaman joined Mustafa Kamal’s Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) on Monday, reported Dunya News.
Both ex-members of MQM formally made an announcement of joining PSP in a press conference which they addressed along with Kamal and Anees Qaimkhani.
Kamal welcomed the two in the party, further adding that the MQM chief ordered the workers to keep their phones out during the recently held workers meeting. He said that despite this attempt, all information regarding the meeting is with him.
He added that “no one came out of their homes (to join the party) as terrorists. The workers were converted into RAW agents and target killers”. Kamal stated that 20 thousand people belonging to MQM were killed and out of those, 10 thousand were killed on the orders of Nadeem Nusrat alone. He added that the workers were “used like tissue papers” and that they do not need to consider what the party tells them.
He said that Nusrat used to make teams along with the Muttahida chief, Altaf Hussain, and once a team fulfilled its assigned duty, it was murdered. Kamal added that if the MQM chief comes to the country to lead the party then he will also follow him.
Mohammad Raza said that whatever Mustafa Kamal said is true. He added that he remained quiet after witnessing whatever used to happen in London. Raza said that he went far from solving the social and communal problems whilst attempting to cater the basic problems of the party. He also that “I was suggested not to move to Pakistan from London” but he said that he returned to Karachi today after 16 years.
Waheed-uz-Zaman, while addressing the media, stated that he and Raza decided to join the Pak Sarzameen Party on the basis of mutual consensus.
