KALAT (Dunya News) – Atleast 15 terrorists were killed and several sustained injuries on Thursday during security forces and intelligence agencies joint operation in Balochistan’s Kalat district.
According to details, the raid was conducted in Kalat’s Johan area where the militants were killed during an exchange of fire with the security forces whereas two officials were also wounded.
The security personnel destroyed two hideouts of the terrorists while recovering a huge cache of weapons from their possession.
The weapons include rocket launcher, landmines, hand grenade, kalashnikov, pistols and hundreds of bullets.
On the other hand, Frontier Corps (FC) arrested an Afghan intelligence officer from Pak-Afghan Bogra area and confiscated heavy weapons from him which include four submachine guns (SMG), light machine gun (LMG), sniper gun scope, three wireless sets, improvised bomb-making equipment, 105 detonators fuse and 21kg explosive material.
Balochistan government spokesperson has said that India and Afghanistan’s intelligence agencies are directly involved in terrorism in Pakistan.
