Summary Karachi's temperature will maintain between 32 Celsius to 34 Celsius

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Weather forecast states that more rains are likely in some upper areas that are already affected by downpours and floods, Dunya News reported Tuesday.

More rains are expected in some areas of Kashmir, Gilgit- Baltistan (GB) and Hazara Division. However, weather in rest of the parts is likely to remain dry.

Karachi’s temperature will maintain between 32°C to 34°C.

According to meteorological department, light drizzle might happen in Lahore’s some areas. Temperature will gradually rise in coming few days in plain parts of the country.

Highest temperature for today, 39°C is said to be in Shaheed Benazirabad while Mithi, Chhor and Sukkur will follow with 38°C.

Earlier an advisory issued on April 1 had warned of landslides due to heavy rains in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) including Dir, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Batagram, Mansehra districts). Areas that were termed vulnerable in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) were Ghizer, Diamer & Astore districts while in Kashmir, Neelam Valley & Muzaffarabad districts.

Landsliding caused by downpours has affected two villages in Muzaffarabad, demolishing more than 80 houses.
A piece of land, around four kilometers (Kms) long has displaced.
