An exhibition of memorable photos of Bhutto and his daughter, former PM Benazir Bhutto, is also being held in the area. The pictures include photos from Benazir’s childhood and snapshots taken during Bhutto’s foreign visits. The exhibition will continue for the next 2 days.

PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, speaking on the occasion, has stated that in the current times, power is being shifted towards unelected forces. He added that it is pertinent to realize that power only comes from the ballot box, not bullets.

Responding to previous allegations over extensive expenditures on Bhutto’s anniversary, Shah stated that the issuance of Rs. 250 million for death anniversary was misrepresented.
