GARHI KHUDA BAKSH (Dunya News) – Chairman Senate Raza Rabbani while addressing to the media on Saturday stated that Pervez Musharraf was being tried under Article-6 of the constitution but despite that he was allowed to leave the country, reported Dunya News.
Rabbani paid visit to the shrines of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto and addressed the media afterwards. He stated that the former dictator was involved in the murder of Benazir Bhutto and he violated Article-6 of the constitution as well, despite all this he was allowed to leave the country which is similar to a joke.
He added that if any article or section of the constitution is of no use then it is better to omit it.
Rabbani stated that according to Article-4 of the constitution, all citizens are equal before the law then how can the courts make a decision whilst ignoring it.
