ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - United States (US) President Barack Obama Wednesday called Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and expressed his heart-felt condolences over the tragic Lahore incident on behalf of the US government and the public, reported Dunya News.

He told the PM that Pakistan had made great efforts for the eradication of terrorism under Nawaz s leadership. Obama added that he appreciated the effort and trusts Sharif’s government to counter terrorism on every front.

He said that US will help Pakistan on all fronts in countering terrorism and also expressed the desire to meet PM Nawaz.

PM Nawaz stated that the terrorist hide-outs have been destroyed and now the terrorists have started attacking the soft targets. He also said that the nation stands firm against terrorists.
