QUETTA (Dunya News) – Police have tortured former speaker Balochistan Assembly Aslam Bhootani stating that they have been ordered to take action against anyone who protests opposing Hubco coal power plant, Dunya News reported Monday.
The former speaker had come to attend a public hearing in regard to the proposed power plant. Supporters of the ex-speaker and police exchanged hot words that led the personnel to torture them.

On the other hand, locals have said that the plant would add to environmental pollution which is why they would never let the project get constructed.
