Summary Fire turned into a raging inferno due to the chemicals and paint inside the warehouse.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A fire that started in a paint warehouse in Karachi’s SITE area was put out after 16 hours, after fire fighters continued to battle with the raging flames early Tuesday morning. Damages due to the fire have been estimated in the millions. The reason behind the fire could not be ascertained.
According to the details, a paint warehouse in SITE area had caught fire in the morning yesterday. The fire turned into a raging inferno which engulfed the whole building due to the chemicals and paint present inside the warehouse.
Fire Brigade, however, managed to extinguish the flames after battling for 16 hours.
According ton the resucue officials, the operation employed 12 fire tenders and 4 bowsers.
