Summary Rangers post situated at Korangi crossing attacked by unidentified personnel
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A Rangers check-post located at Korangi crossing was attacked on Friday by unidentified personnel resulting in 3 Rangers officers getting injured, reported Dunya News.
A cracker was thrown towards the check-post which exploded and caused the devastation. Police and Rangers officers in large numbers reached the site shortly after the attack. A wall of the check-post along with a motorcycle got damaged as a result of the explosion.
Police have taken one suspect into custody whereas the injured Rangers officers were admitted to a hospital. The area was cordoned off by Rangers and a search operation has been initiated.
