THATTA (Dunya News) – Atleast four people were killed and 30 sustained severe injuries on Friday in passenger coach-van collision near Dhabeji in Thatta.

Locals shifted the injured and dead to Steel Mill, Gharo and Dhabeji hospitals under self-help whereas 10 critically wounded were transferred to Karachi’s Civil and Jinnah hospital.
Majority of the passengers were government employees and were going to their offices.
Pakistan has one of the world’s worst records for fatal traffic accidents, blamed on poor roads, badly maintained vehicles, reckless driving and rampant disregard of traffic laws.
More than 4,600 people were killed in road traffic accidents in 2013, the last year the government released official data.
