Summary Agreement reached on all outstanding issues, Pakistan to start investigation from March 27
POKHARA, NEPAL: (Dunya News, Web Desk) - Pakistan and India have on Thursday reached an agreement on all outstanding issues and Pakistani Joint Investigation Team (JIT) will arrive in India on March 27 to start investigations into the Pathankot incident, reported Dunya News.
Briefing the media after a meeting in Nepal, Indian Foreign Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Pakistan s Foreign Advisor Sartaj Aziz announced that an agreement had been reached on all the outstanding issues. Pathankot attack was discussed in detail between the two officials and the agreement to restore peace talks was finally reached.
The meeting was held in Pokhra, Nepal, during the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Conference. Sartaj Aziz also handed the invitation of SAARC Heads of State Conference for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Sushma Swaraj on this occasion.
Sartaj Aziz said on this occasion that Pakistan was ready to talk to India on all outstanding issues.
The 19th SAARC Heads of State Conference is expected to be held in Islamabad in September this year.
