Summary Colonel Tariq Ghafoor was shot as he was leaving a mosque after attending Friday prayers
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – According to the police, Colonel Tariq Ghafoor was assassinated as he was leaving a mosque in the Ring road achni area of Peshawar after attending the Friday prayers, reported Dunya News.
His assassins were able to flee from the crime scene however the police initiated its search to curtail the culprits.
The body of the deceased was transferred to his residence at Hayatabad. He shall be laid to rest in Kohat which is his native city.
