Summary Rs 10 million each will be given as compensation to terrorism victims' families

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Governor Punjab Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana approved an ordinance on Monday, paving way to allocate financial aid to the victims of terrorism, reported Dunya News.

Rajwana approved an ordinance according to which a fund would be established for those who had been victimsed by terrorism.

The ordinance further stated that family members of those killed in terrorism-related incidents will be compensated with Rs 10 million. In case of injury or disability Rs 5 million and Rs 1 million in case of any partial loss will be allocated.

Rs 5 million will be compensated in case of business loss or a truck or any heavy vehicle is destroyed due to terrorism attack. Rs 80 thousand will be given to those with partial and Rs 2 million to total loss of car, jeep and rickshaw.

Similarly, motorcycle owners will be given Rs 20 thousand, Rs 5 million to complete property and Rs 2 million to partial property loss. Any kind of cattle loss will also be compensated.
