ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Dunya News on Monday obtained the security alert report issued on December 14 pertaining to attacks on local courts.

The report by the interior ministry alerted the provincial government that Tariq Geedar Group is planning to attack local courts.

It went on to say that three suicide bombers namely Abbas Sawati, Saifullah Afghani and other Afghani will reach the entrance gate of the court in a rickshaw.

Saifullah and Afghani will present themselves as police officials of special branch whereas Abbas will be brought in handcuffs as a convict, the report revealed.



It also added that Abbas will explode himself whereas the other two will open indiscriminate fire.

The interior ministry also directed the provincial home secretary to adopt strict measurements to avert such incident.

In the aftermath of the security alert, at least sixteen people including three police constables were martyred and several others were injured in a suicide blast in the premises of a local court in Charsadda district in Pakistan’s troubled northwest.

According to initial reports, a suicide bomber entered the complex and a policeman on duty tried to stop him but he blew himself up.
