Summary Rasheed resided in village Saigri, D.I. Khan; he embraced martyrdom while battling terrorists

DERA ISMAIL KHAN (Dunya News) – Pakistan Army soldier Mohammad Rasheed, who embraced martyrdom on Saturday while confronting terrorists in tehsil Shawal of South Waziristan agency, has been laid to rest in his native graveyard with complete army protocol on Sunday, reported Dunya News.

Rasheed was a resident of the village Saigri tehsil Paharpur, Dera Ismail Khan. He joined the army four years back and was to be wed in two month’s time. Rasheed was the only sponsor and caretaker of his parents, his elder brother is a labourer whereas 4 sisters are also among his survivors. His father is blind and his mother remains mostly ill.

The martyr was laid to rest with complete army protocol. People from all walks of life attended the funeral.
