Summary Special police force lined up to counter 'culprits' hiding near remote river banks
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A police force to patrol along river side and banks has been established to counter militants, robbers and smugglers; the first batch of 671 officers passed out on Saturday, reported Dunya News.
Devious river banks have gradually been turned into hideouts of militants, robbers and smugglers. To counter the situation a 671-member river police force has been established by the authorities.
On the occasion of passing out parade of elite river police force, selected police officers exquisitely performed judo karate and displayed the usage of state-of-the-art weapons.
