ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – United States (US) Department of State has stated that strategic dialogue with Pakistan will be held on February 29, Dunya News reported Saturday.

State Department Spokesperson Mark Toner stated in a press briefing in Washington that regional tensions and terrorism are among the agenda of the talks.

Other matters of mutual importance that would be talked about are trade affairs and restoration of peace in the region.

The US delegation will be led by John Kerry in the talks.

The spokesperson said that US has always endorsed talks and cooperation between India and Pakistan. He said that cooperation between the two neighbours to curb terrorism would benefit the region.
