Summary Officials involved still with ranks, took bribe worth 10 to 20 thousand rupees
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – According to a list released by an intelligence agency, certain officials of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) have been found involved in making illegal National Identification Cards (NIC) for terrorists originating from different countries, reported Dunya news.
The NADRA officials took bribe worth 10 to 20 thousand rupees from individuals of Afghan, Bengali, Uzbek and American origin, according to the intelligence agency’s report. It further added that the NADRA officials involved behind this crime are still at their ranks. The report further noted that many of the fake ID cards obtained from assassinated terrorists were released from Karachi.
According to the list obtained by Dunya news, Deputy General Manager Operations and Manager Operations of NADRA along with officials of other ranks were involved in this crime.
