Summary PTI Chairman said it was necessary in a democracy like Pakistan to hold a sit-in that he held
PESHAWAR: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has on Thursday said that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif should have been the captain of Pakistan cricket team but became PM by mistake. He added that the sit-in held by him was necessary in a democracy like that of Pakistan, reported Dunya News.
Addressing a ceremony at Peshawar University Convention Hall, PTI Chairman said that Nawaz Sharif was better suited for Pakistan cricket team captain. He said that a nation not ready to invest on its people could never progress. “To become an Asian Tiger, it is vital to invest on the people of Pakistan”, he said.
