Summary Tight security arrangements are being made ahead of the parade taking place on 23rd of March

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Madaris, shrines and wedding halls in the vicinity of the Parade Avenue have been ordered to remain shut for one week ahead of the military parade which is to take place on March 23rd, reported Dunya news.

According to the district government, all madaris and shrines within three kilometers area of the Parade Avenue will remain closed from 18th to 23rd March. Wedding halls have been instructed not to do any bookings prior to March 24.

At the same time, contrary to the orders issued, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has refused to shut down the Margalla Hills hiking trails.

The CDA was warned by the administration of possible infiltration from the area at the time of the parade.
