Summary MQM continued hunger strike against ban on broadcast, publishing of Altaf Hussain's speeches

KARACHI: (Dunya News) – The hunger strike of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) against the ban on the broadcasting and publishing of MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s statements and speeches continued on the third day as well, reported Dunya News.

MQM workers kept sitting outside Karachi Press Club for the symbolic hunger strike. MQM Rabita Committee Deputy Convener Shahid Pasha said on this occasion that the protest will widen if the government didn’t respond to the hunger strike in a positive way.

The symbolic hunger strike was attended by MQM leaders Nasreen Jalil, Kishwar Zehra and Khushbakht Shujaat and a large number of women workers who said that they would raise their voice on every level. People from different walks of life and famous personalities also arrived on the occasion and shared their opinions.
