SHEIKHUPURA (Dunya News) – Relatives of a youth, who was killed in police torture, staged a protest at Sheikhupura Road in Lahore today (Wednesday).
The 21-year-old local was allegedly assaulted by police man after forcefully detention from his house in Ferozwala. The victim was shifted to Allied Hospital in critical condition where he succumbed to injuries.
The doctors stated that the brutal torture has broken Ali Raza’s both legs and badly affected his liver.
The bereaved family protested by putting body on Sheikhupura Road.
On the other hand, Station House Officer (SHO) Khizar Hayyat Bhatti said that the boy was nabbed by sub-inspector Latif and no other official was involved in the incident.
