KARACHI: (Dunya News) – It has been revealed that the banned outfits in Karachi are now regrouping and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Swati group’s Khan Zaman Mehsood and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi’s (LeJ) Asif Chhotu are bringing all the terrorist groups together, reported Dunya News.
According to details, the investigations of the arrested terrorists carried out by the intelligence agencies in Karachi have revealed that TTP Swati group’s Khan Zaman Mehsood and LeJ’s Asif Chhotu are reorganising the banned outfits. Dunya News has obtained all the details regarding various groups of the outlawed outfits.
According to Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) sources, TTP commander Zaman Zaman Khan Mehsood is regrouping all the banned outfits in Sohrab Goth area. Sajna group, Chhota Abid group, Hafiz Qasim group and Umar Khalid Khurasani group have become active. All these groups under the leadership of Khan Zaman Khan and Asif Chhotu are getting merged into Islamic State (IS). Al-Qaeda leader Shakeel Burmi is also helping the terrorists by bringing all the rebellious youngsters from the outlawed outfits under one banner.
10 groups of banned outfits are organising in the suburbs of Karachi. The head money on Khan Zaman and Asif Chhotu is Rs. 2.5 million each. However, the links of Safoora tragedy, Airport attack and the attacks on Rangers’ checkpoints are now being discovered.
On the other hand, an intelligence agency has arrested Baloch Liberation Organisation’s suspected terrorist Chhuttan Khan. Grenades and other weapons were discovered with the arrested terrorist while three aides of the terrorist opened fire on the security officials and succeeded in escaping.
