KARACHI (Dunya News) – Unknown suspects on Sunday targeted a Rangers’ check post near Nazimabad area with a cracker blast and fled the scene. Bomb disposal squad stated that a bottle filled with 500 grams of explosive material, nuts, bolts and screws was hurled at the outpost.
According to the police, the check post sustained damages but no injuries were reported. A heavy contingent of police and Rangers arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area.
A similar cracker bomb was also thrown earlier towards a Rangers outpost in Nazimabad.
Police say that an investigation has been started after evidence was collected from the area.
