Summary Punjab govt makes agreement with Danish Company for 4 power plants
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif has announced in a press conference on Wednesday that Punjab government has made an agreement with a Danish company to build four wind power plants in Punjab with a total capacity of 1000 Megawatts (MW), reported Dunya News.
According to the details, Shahbaz told that Danish company, VESTAS will install four wind power plants in Punjab with a total capacity of 1000 MW.
Shahbaz said that he is confident that no one has to give a single penny as a bribe for this project. He said that there are great opportunities in Punjab for producing energy from wind power. He assured that his government will support the power sector for producing energy from wind power.
