KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh government on Wednesday denied giving orders of firing during Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) employees’ protest in Karachi, reported Dunya News.

According to the details, Sindh government has denied the accusations that they ordered police to open fire on the protestors. The government stated that they had ordered police to stop using batons and water cannon.

On the other hand, both police and rangers have denied using any violence against PIA employees. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) police East Karachi has also said that he is not at all aware who opened fire on protestors.

“We have got some clues during the investigation and many hidden faces are going to be exposed soon”, claimed senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Rana Sanaullah.

Death of two PIA employees during the protest against privatisation of PIA has shocked the whole nation but no one knows who killed them and who ordered to open fire. Security experts are raising questions on the ignorance of security agencies and the government.

Two workers of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) have succumbed to wounds after law enforcers allegedly opened fire to deter protesters’ movement towards Jinnah terminal.

Sindh Police used water cannon to deter the protesting employees who were furthering towards Jinnah International Airport from the head office while Rangers resorted to baton charge.

The law enforcers have been alleged of opening fire that claimed two lives and injured several others.

A worker of PIA’s engineering wing, Inayat Raza died in a hospital after he was admitted in injured condition. However, Sindh Police East DIG has rejected the claims and said that the personnel did not open fire. There are reports that protesters possessed weapons, he added.
