Punjab govt develops bill for formation of Private Education Commission

Summary Commission will monitor private educational institutes and will also analyze their fee structure.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The government of Punjab has come up with a bill for the formation of a Private Education Commission. Punjab’s Education Minister Rana Mashood will present the bill in Punjab Assembly today (Sunday) and has been kept in the agenda.

According to the bill, the 17 member Private Education Commission will monitor private educational institutes and will also analyze their fee structure.

The Commission will also enforce these institutes to provide free education to 10% of deserving children.
