Summary Victims, on the other hand, say they will continue protesting unless their issue gets resolved

KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Qaim Ali Shah ‘Saien’ has on Thursday changed his statement regarding the alternate residence for the victims of the Sindh Assembly quarters. The victims, on the other hand, have said that they will continue protesting unless their issue is resolved, reported Dunya News.

It took the government just a few hours to demolish the quarters of the employees residing in Sindh Assembly for several years but the alternate residences have not been arranged for them despite lapse of several days. As usual, the commitments and promises made by Sindh government failed to realize and Sindh CM also changed his statement about providing the employees with alternate residences. The CM now says that only the employees of Sindh Assembly will be provided with alternate residence while Chief Secretary has been directed to collect the documents and details of the other residents.

The victims say that the promise for an alternate residence hasn’t been fulfilled as yet. The protesting women said that the government should definitely make the parking plaza for the members of the assembly but should not make them homeless.

The protesters said that the protest will continue until the government takes their residence issue seriously.
