Summary Severity of the cold has dropped a bit as sun peaked through the clouds after a long time today

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Sun finally peaked through the clouds in Punjab on Tuesday and the severity of the cold also dropped to some extent in the province. Weather experts have, however, predicted snowfall on the mountains during the next two days, reported Dunya News.

Sun continued to play hide and seek throughout the day but the people of Punjab finally felt some relief as the sun showed up. They also sat in the sunlight to enjoy some warmth of the star. However, the temperature remained almost the same due to cool winds that continued to blow despite the appearance of sun.

On the other hand, new wave of snowfalls has started in Gilgit Baltistan’s (GB) Shigar district while light snowfall was also observed in Murree. According to Met department, heavy rains are expected on Thursday and Friday in the arid areas, popular for the cultivation of wheat.

Heavy snowfall has also been predicted in Chitral, Kalam, Malam Jabba, Upper Dir, Kaghan, Naran, Shangla, Murree, the streets, Bagh, Haveli, Skardu, Hunza Nagar, Ghazar and Gaanche.
