Summary Police confiscated laptop, phone of suspect and shifted him to unknown place for investigation

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Intelligence agencies arrested a professor on Monday on the suspicion of connections with Islamic State (IS), reported Dunya News.

According to the details, intelligence agencies arrested the professor of a private university in the suspicion of contacts with IS. The agencies also confiscated laptop and cellular phone of the suspect and shifted the arrested professor to an unknown place for investigation.

Law enforcement agencies shifted the key member of Daesh Punjab network, Hafiz Umar to Islamabad on Monday, reported Dunya News.

According to the details, Hafiz Umar was arrested from Lahore as he was working for Daesh in Punjab and was involved in many terrorist attacks including Safoora incident. Hafiz proved to be the master mind of the Safoora incident and skilled at brainwashing. Daesh main terrorist in Pkaistan Abdullah Yousaf ordered Hafiz Umar to attack bus at Safoora Karachi to which Hafiz obeyed and himself went inside the bus to open fire that killed many.
