Summary 25 members of outlawed TTP laid down their arms before Pakistan army in Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan
DI KHAN: (Dunya News) – 25 members of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Friday laid down their arms before Pakistan army in Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, 25 members of the TTP laid down their arms before the army. Those laying down the arms included Zarrar Group commander Asmat Ullah and Amin Malang Group commander Abdul Mannan.
DI Khan is one of those areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) that have suffered the most from the menace of terrorism. Before the start of Operation Zarb-e-Azb, terrorists would come here from Waziristan and go back to their hideouts after carrying out terrorist activities. However, after the operation, terrorist hideouts have been destroyed which is why the terrorists remaining there now have no option but to lay down their arms.
Pakistan army and the government also want the terrorists to give up on their radical agenda and join back the mainstream.
