ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Capital Development Authority (CDA) presented the report on sealing the office of political parties from residential areas of Islamabad, in Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday, reported Dunya News.

According to the details, CDA presented a report in the court about the operation being carried out in the capital city against encroachments and commercial units in the residential areas. Many political parties have their offices in residential areas but as CDA started the operations, Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) and All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) voluntarily moved their offices from the residential areas.

According to the report, the number of illegal commercial units in residential areas has decreased from 1695 to 1339 as result of CDA operation. CDA has sealed 356 commercial units while notices have been sent to the remaining illegal commercial units.
