Summary Swine flu virus mostly attack weaker and less immune people.
MULTAN (Dunya News) – A 16-month-old child in Multan tested positive to swine flu on Wednesday whereas two more women suspected of having the disease were admitted to the isolation ward of Nishtar hospital.
Health department have stated that the patients affected by the disease have reached 46 in the ongoing year and belong to Multan and Southern Punjab.
Atleast 21 was confirmed of having the disease among which four have died and nine have been discharged from the hospital after recovery.

In 2009-10, the H1N1 swine flu pandemic spread from central Mexico to 74 other countries including India, killing an estimated 284,000 people, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
More than 2,700 died in India of swine flu between May 2009 and December 2010. Last year, India recorded 218 swine flu-related deaths and 937 cases, down from 2013, when 699 died.
