PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – As many as four bodies stuffed in gunnysacks on Tuesday were recovered by security officers in Peshawar’s Raigi.

According to details, the locals after seeing the bodies immediately called on police officers and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) who after arriving at the scene cordoned off the entire area and started search operation.

The security personnel confiscated the corpses and shifted them to the morgue where they were identified. Officers said that the deceased were from Khyber Agency.

They said that the cadavers were hurled in the area after murder as torture marks can easily be seen on different body parts however, the autopsy report would further clear the confusion.

Moreover, an investigation into the matter has been launched to nab the culprits.

Incidents of crime have shown a steep rise in Peshawar district in the last few days as several incidents of violence and blasts have been reported.

The local administration has also assured to have boosted up the law and order situation in the metropolis.
