MULTAN (Dunya News) – Lady health workers in Multan on Monday protested outside the Executive District Officer (EDO) office against the maltreatment and illegitimate cases.
During the protest, employees of EDO office raised slogans in favour of EDO health as a result of which the protest turned into a scuffle.
The health office employees pushed away the female protesters and also tore their placards in pieces.
Offensive words were exchanged between both the parties with continuous pushing and shoving.
Police reached the scene on getting information of the quarrel and dispersed the protesters.
However; lady health workers threatened that they will boycott the polio campaign due from February 14 in case stern action is not taken against those responsible.
