KAHNA (Dunya News) – One labourer died while two sustained severe injuries on Sunday when they refused to pay extortion money to a group in Kahna .
According to details, the incident occurred in Nishtar Colony over Rs 200 extortion money. The extortionist named Siddique demanded money from a worker of vegetable market namely Javed.
However; on his refusal he opened fire and injured Javed and his two companions.
They were shifted to General Hospital for medical assistance where Javed succumbed to his injuries.
Relatives of the victim protested against the killing in front of Chief Minister (CM) House but dispersed later when they were assured of arresting the suspects.
