KARACHI (Dunya News) – The opposition parties in Sindh on Saturday formed a grand alliance led by Pir Pagara, Dunya News reported.

According to details, the leaders in the alliance have demanded that Rangers be given Sindh-wide authority to crackdown against the terrorist and criminal elements. They demanded the political parties to kick out such elements from their ranks.

According to details, key leaders participated in the meeting of opposition’s alliance led by Pir Pagara in Karachi. Talking to the media after the meeting, Pagara said the alliance has been formed to prevent Sindh from further loss.

He demanded not to restrict Rangers to Karachi only, adding that they should be given Sindh-wide jurisdiction to carry out the operation.

Mumtaz Bhutto, Arbab Ghulam Raheem and Murtaza Jatoi said the alliance will take to streets if the loot by the government is not stopped.

It was stated in the declaration after the session that a commission must be formed over illegal possession of people’s lands and injustices.
