KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police encounter in Gizri area of Karachi have become a mystery as the main plaintiff while talking to media refused to recognize the late student Zakria whereas police has claimed that plaintiff has identified both the suspects.

The written report of the incident has been submitted to higher authorities in which it has been said that police was informed on January 1 at 11 pm that two motorcycle riders are conducting a robbery bid on which officials reached the scene and on identification of the plaintiff, police chased the suspects.
The report also state that the alleged suspect Zakria fled after a robbery and was killed during a clash in Defense phase-7 while his accomplice Ghulam Azad was injured.

Police claim in the report that they recovered four mobile phones and weapons from the possession of the suspects.

On the other hand, a local court in Karachi remanded nabbed suspect Ghulam Azad for one day in police custody.

He will be presented tomorrow in an anti-terrorism court (ATC).
The clarity of the case has been compromised with many calling the encounter as ‘fake’. The police registered 4 cases against the suspect. The police itself are the plaintiff in 3 of the cases.
Police on late Friday had gunned down the student n Gizri area. Zakria had returned from Malaysia after completing his education just six days ago.

Dunya News also obtained passport of the returning student. He had completed his education in Malaysia and returned almost a week ago.
Bereaved family has said that the 25-year-old was martyred in a fake encounter. On January 1, Zakria was in Gizri area along with his friend named, Azad.
