LAHORE (Dunya News) – The operation Zarb-e-Azb in 2015 proved to be apocalyptic for terrorists as the security sources told that as much as 98% areas has been cleared of terrorists, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the year 2015 proved to be a successful for the battle against terrorism. The security sources have revealed that as many as 436 terrorism attempts were foiled.
The sources further said that it is because of the Intelligence Fusion Cell that terrorism has reduced by 56% in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It said as many as 27,530 displaced families returned to their house.
They told that all displaced persons will be able to return home by the end of the year 2016.
As per the sources, the threat of ISIS presence has ended with the elimination of terrorists hideouts in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
The security sources further said that ISIS so called recruits are none other than the runaway Taliban.
