Summary Permission asked from NAB Chairman for preparing reference against corruption in Sindh police
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has expedited investigations into corruption in Sindh police. Permission has on Friday been asked from NAB Chairman for preparing reference against corrupt officers in Sindh police, reported Dunya News.
According to sources, the noose around the corrupt officers in Sindh police is being tightened as important evidence gathered by NAB show cars turned bullet-proof at very high rates. Millions of rupees have been plundered in the name of petrol while mass irregularities have been unearthed in food provided to the police and installation of CCTV cameras.
Sources told that the turning of armoured cars into bullet proof vehicles was being probed for the last several months.
NAB also recorded the statements of the officers belonging to various departments in its initial investigations while NAB officer has asked for permission from NAB Chairman for preparing references against the corrupt officers in Sindh police.
