Summary Rangers conducted 2410 operations in 4074 people were arrested
KARACHI (Dunya News) – During 2015, Rangers conducted 2410 operations in 4074 people were arrested while 152 suspects were killed in 69 encounters, reports Dunya News.
Here is a detailed list of statistics of Rangers’ operation for the year 2015 as per Rangers’ spokesperson:
Suspects handed over to police after investigation: 2198
Terrorists apprehended: 887
Target killers arrested: 68
Extortionists taken in custody: 97
Kidnappers caught: 49
Weapons confiscated: 2765
Criminals killed in encounters: 152
Hostages rescued: 18
It is pertinent to mention here that Rangers also suffered 12 casualties in line of duty.
