Summary Peace process will result in prosperity for people of both countries, said Foreign Secretary
LAHORE (Dunya News) -- Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart met during a meeting in Lahore and the two leaders agreed to continue peace process, told the Foreign Office on Friday, reports Dunya News.
Speaking to media after departure of PM Narendra Modi from Allama Iqbal Airport, Lahore, Foreign Secretary of Pakistan Chaudhry said that PM Nawaz Sharif welcomed his Indian counterpart on arrival at airport. He said that the Prime Ministers of Pakistan and India met in Raiwind and expressed a desire to advance the peace process.
Both leaders agreed that the peace process will result in prosperity for people of the countries and agreed to mutual cooperation for pursuing such an aim.
Aizaz Ahmed Chowdhury further said that would work would be done for bolstering friendly ties between the countries.
