Summary Chandio said justice wasn't served in Dr. Asim's case, challenging decision family's prerogative
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Sindh Information Advisor Moula Bakhsh Chandio has on Monday said that justice wasn’t served in Dr. Asim Hussain’s case. He said that challenging the decision of the court will be the prerogative of Dr. Asim’s family, reported Dunya News.
Holding a press conference in Karachi, Chandio said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) always abided by the decisions of the court. “We have trust in courts but we believe that justice wasn’t served in Dr. Asim’s case”, said Chandio. He said that the verdict of the court was disappointing and the court should have done justice.
Chandio said that such decision would inflame the already fuming passions. “Our voices will weaken with such decisions”, he said. Information Advisor said that Sindh government’s interference would have borne different results. He said that no institution can be deprived of its rights.
The PPP leader said that the decision about the appeal would be taken by Dr. Asim’s family.
“Former President Asif Ali Zardari provided stability to the democracy and it should continue. Democracy has now started, it must reach its destiny”, he said.
