Summary More than 30 suspects were arrested during a search operation in Karachi’s Shah Faisal Colony.
LARACHI (Dunya News) – According to details, Rangers and police launched a joint search operation in Shah Faisal Colony No 5 on a tip-off that criminals are present in the area on night between Sunday and Monday and detained more than 30 suspects.
Police and Rangers sealed all the entry and exit points of the area before launching the search operation and conducted house-to-house search during which over 30 suspects were arrested.
All the arrested persons were later shifted to police station for further investigation.

Earlier on Sunday, Rangers conducted raids in Gulistan-e-Johar, Sarjani Town, Orangi Town, FBR Area, Sher Shah, Quaid Abad and Afshani Gali in Lyari and arrested as many as 20 operatives of a banned terrorist outfit and the militant wing of a political party.
During the raids, modern automatic weapons including SMG Rifles and a large number of explosives were recovered from the suspects. The arrested terrorists and criminals have been transferred to an undisclosed location for investigation. The Rangers spokesperson said that full crackdown against the terrorist elements is ongoing, adding that the operation will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.
