KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) united of police on Sunday arrested at least 4 terror suspects of banned outfits after raiding various areas near Korangi Chamra Chowrangi, Dunya News reported.
According to details, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) told in a press conference that the arrested terrorist suspects belong to the banned terrorist outfits Tehreek-e-Taliban and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
A hand grenade, Kalashnikov and other weaponry has been recovered from them. The arrested suspects have confessed to carrying out terrorist activities including explosions and target killings in various areas of the city.
The SSP old that the suspects were also behind the Rami Club in Ghas Mandi explosion in which 16 people had died.
